Blocking is more than just where you place your actors and props; it is essential to convey a scene's underlying emotion and subtext. Understanding the power dynamic of a scene is crucial in connecting on a deeper level with the narrative and the audience. For example, placing characters on opposite sides of a room during a tense conversation can elevate the tension and visually express the conflict between them. Similarly, placing a character at the edge of a frame or in the corner of a room can emphasize their isolation or loneliness. This module will help you harness that power.
